You probably attend an event at least once a year. Sometimes events are all about shopping, but more often than not, events are a combination of shopping and education. When attending a show that combines classes and market place, shopping literally becomes dashes between classes. Time is short that your plan includes the necessary pit stop (crossing your fingers for short lines) and visits to my favorite or new vendor spot.
As a vendor, we do our best to bring the right amount of scents and products. We are thrilled when we have the product or scent you are looking for, but sometimes there is a sudden run on your favorite scent or product and the person in front of you just bought the last one. Being left wanting after waiting just stinks!
Wait and want no more because we've created the Easy Peasy Product Reservation. It's so simple and fast, you’ll LOVE the experience!
Go to our web site: www.Bar-Maids.com for directions, and we'll even text you a reminder during the event!

On The Needles:(0:55)
Gigi put some trim on a preemie hat. She has four pair of socks on the needles. There will be a #projectsweaterchestKAL coming up.
She started a pair of socks in the Twelve Days of Christmas colorway, by Berry Colorful Yarnings on the Saturated Sparkle Sock base. 75% merino, 25%nylon, 5% stellina.
She started a sock in the Under the Mistletoe colorway, by Julianna's Fibre, in the base Lucid Dream Sock Yarn, 80% superwash merino, 20 % nylon.
She is still working on the Meilenweit Citrus Socks, and the Meilenweit Multiringel socks, both in a Vanilla sock pattern.
Jasmin was enabled by the Fat Squirrel Speaks into buying Julianna's Fibre and bought some Under the Mistletoe for herself.
She has made excellent progress on Genevieve's Coronation Cardigan, out of Berry Colorful Yarnings. She finished a hat for Andrew that only had an inch of knitting left. She wrote up the pattern on her project page.
She also made progress on the Elsa gloves, and she really likes to work on the beading.
She is also working on the Bifrost Scarf scarf.
Gigi blocked a swatch for her second Rocky Coast cardigan out of gunmetal grey Cascade Yarns Eco Wool
Jasmin is sewing grosgrain ribbon and weaving in ends on the Kobayashi Maru and enthusing about the TincanKnits Twelve days of advent, where they have a free pattern every day.
And she lovesStar Trek Onesies.
In Stitches:(16:10)
Gigi has been wearing her Flamingo Feathers,
her Knitmore cowl, mostly Vanilla socks, and wristers. She needs to knit herself some hats and cowls. Woolly Wormhead, Alana Dakos, Bonne Marie Burns, and Tincan Knits are designers whose patterns she is going to look at for patterns.
Jasmin wore her Mondo Cable cardi, the Twist Cardigan, the ola hat, the Rocky Coast cardigan with the Leslie Wind Disc latch
Genevieve wore her Elsa cardigan, the Elsa hat, Olivia hat, and Bumble hat
Rex wore his Bumble hat from C.C. from the Geeky Girls Knit podcast , Baby Puerperium that Cchellez knit for him, and the Purl Soho Baby cardi.
Sam wore a hat mom had knitted for him some time ago.

Mother Knows Best:(29:34)
This week we answer a question from the "What do you want to hear about?" thread in the forum about storing and displaying winter knitwear decoratively. Gigi suggests Command Hooks. Jasmin suggests an IKEA photo wire. Let us hear what your suggestions are. Also, earburning Susan B. Anderson!
When Knitting Attacks:(36:57)
Gigi was beading on her Viajante and noticed that she had started the beading mid row and will tink it back to the beginning of the row.
Jasmin mentions Kristine Beeson who beaded her Viajante, and did a beautiful job.
Jasmin was going to be very efficient and knit both of Genevieve's gloves at the same time and identical. She really wanted to knit a left and a right glove. Ripped back.
Review:(41:59)
This week we review
Susan B. Anderson's Kids' Knitting Workshop
Jasmin also likes Annie and the Swiss Cheese Scarf, and is very fond of Melanie Falick's Kids Knitting: Projects for Kids of all Ages and Lucy Neatby's Learn to Knit DVD
Holidays with the Knitmores:(53:39)
We have affirmations for the holidays:
It is going to be ok.
It doesn't have to be perfect.
Jasmin is cooking potato soup out of America's Test Kitchen.
And, importantly, if you need help, please call someone.
