Now, we are adding a little twist for you: Introducing the Akerworks Butterfly Kate, designed to fold into itself, making it incredibly easy to pack in a bag and take on any adventure! The Butterfly Kate has a wooden base, a carbon fiber shaft with two angle settings, a nifty pattern holder, and our patent-pending TensiTamer gizmo to keep everything in place and select your desired tension. It's designed either for use with our Yarn Caddy, or as a single shaft Lazy Kate for use with spinning bobbins.

bedhead fiber is an indie natural dyer based out of Seattle, WA who focuses on locally sourced yarn from the Pacific Northwest. They grow many of their dye materials and sell dye seeds so you can also grow your own dye gardens! In February, bedhead fiber launched a sponsorship program specifically for POC (people of color), low income, LGBTQ, and disabled folk in the community as a way to make bedhead fiber products and education more accessible to marginalized communities, as oftentimes natural fibers and dyes are inaccessible to many. The sponsorships will enable bedhead fiber to provide a sliding scale approach to their products as well as forms of education in the way of supplies or classes. If you are interested in donating to this program, you can find information on their website, www.bedheadfiber.com. If you are interested in applying to receive sponsorship, please note that sponsorships will be going to support POC (people of color), low income, LGBTQ, and disabled folk in the community. Head to www.bedheadfiber.com for more information.

And Sew On:(1:03:07)
Draped dress was due. Paper pattern, too.
Noticed that I had had sewn the bodice backwards, and the darts were on the outside.
Ripped them out and put them inside.
Also, draped a sloper for knit fabric. Less ease.
We mention Sew Many Dresses Sew Little time
Couldn’t get the teacher to tell us how draping is done on a live model
