Join Little Skein for our 3rd annual summer knitalong, Sock School. Knit some socks and read a favorite book. Looking at other people knitting Patons Kroy. Lovely colors. Different from what our big box stores carry.

footprint of the recipient.
Jasmin has finished the sewn bind-off the BB8 little sock arms sweater.
She has been working on her Knitmore Depth cowl out of Fiber Seed yarn in the Knitmore colorway from

Gigi didn’t swatch for the Fantastic Beasts cowl. Didn’t like the density of the fabric.
Swatched on the piece with smaller needles, so she frogged and started over.

Gigi’s is taking the beginning sewing class at West Valley College. She loves it.
Quiz every week, lot of different samples. Turned in skirt, loved the technique for sewing the waist facing.
Used the blind hemmer.
Sewed a t shirt, used the cover stitch machine. Copied the sloper for the A- line skirt.
Last project is a camp shirt with techniques for matching stripes.
Cut the shirt, thread marked (so efficient!) pocket and button placement
New technical term. Plaid refers to stripes that run at a 90 degree angle to the warp.
