Gigi has knitted a preemie hat a day for #oneadayinmay.
Jasmin has talked to Laura, the Empress of Stash Dash, who ruled that sewing grosgrain ribbon and buttons does not count for Stash Dash. So she finished knitting the Kapuzin hoodie, in Lisa Sousa's Hardtwist, in the St Louis Blues colorway, for Genevieve. Also, she mentions totally beating Commuter Jen at Stash Dash.
Jasmin expounds on the virtues of blocking and how much better knits look afterwards. She mentions Martina Behm and Amy Herzog and their method of blocking.
And she praises America's Test Kitchen's method of side by side comparisons. And Gigi likes Shout Color Catchers for doing laundry.
Jasmin mentions Soak for blocking the Envelope pullover out of yarn from Berry Colorful Yarnings, by Ysolda Teague, and the Baby Vertebrae (it also comes in an adult size )
