She travels….extensively. At times by wheels, sometimes by wing, other times by wave. She travels while she sits and knits, creativity driving. Creativity inspired by mountain travel, memories, textures and color, small towns, 5th Avenues and spring flowers. She travels…..light. Light as the wind. With her backpack she is prepared to hike mountain passes, climb the north face, and forge those rivers. Next week, she will grab her Zucca on wheels and brave airport security flying to the next big city. One thing remains constant. She always travels with a Lo-Lo Body Bar. She knows while hiking, she won’t be bugged, and while in the city, dry skin doesn’t have a chance.

On The Needles:(0:35)
Gigi finished the Narcissus Wristers out of the Knitter's Curiosity Cabinet vol 1. Her count is: 8 done/12 still left, plus 2 bonus items.
Jasmin mentioned the Down Cellar Studio podcast. She is on the last color of her Boneyard, talks about redoing the edging on her Pogona, and knitting on her Daybreak in the car.
Jasmin wants to finish the Boneyard before she starts her Ophidian.
Gigi is getting close to the toe of the Narcissus socks. She has also worked on the Opal van Gogh socks in the Spiceman pattern. Also, she is working on the leg of the Brainless socks.
Summer of Lace and Beads: Gigi started the swatch for her Lorelei cowl.
Events:(8:47)
We will pop in and out to participate in the Halos of Hope-athon. July 13-14, at Purlescence Yarns.
Mother Knows Best:(9:33)
Today we have a piece of advice: Assume the best.
When Knitting Attacks:(15:09)
Gigi was attacked by her spinning.
Purloined:(17:09)
This week we are purloining "Apologies" from the Knitwits. Week before last, we had intended to purloin "What are you stalking? by the Yarniacs, and misnamed it "New In the Queue" by Just One More Row
Review:(20:57)
This week we review Little Red in the City, by Ysolda Teague. We want to knit most of the garments in the book.
Also, Gigi mumbles about knitting the Dr Watson sweater, and Jasmin is praising Amanda from Lorna's Laces.
Tour de Fleece:(39:17)
Gigi is lamenting the lack of progress, she feels the spinning is going too slow. Jasmin is going slow and steady, and getting quite a bit of fiber spun on her mini spinner.
And Sew On:(41:34)
Gigi cut up a ratty comforter, serged the edges and will donate it to the vet.
